Just blogging after a very long time... (England trip part 1)

I believe it has been a very long time since I last blogged. I think I am just having a blog for fun, because I don't really blog that much. I share stuff on my social networks more often.

Last December, I travelled to England with my Father to look for my family members and have a holiday. Practically half of my family (who lives under the same roof as I do, in case you misunderstand) is in England, although they are not of British nationality. I have ever wished that I could travel to America or England as I think that they are faraway English-speaking countries. I mean, how cool would it be if I could actually go there on a vacation? Before this trip to England, the furthest I have ever flown to is France. Wow, that is far, you would think. Yes, France and England aren't that far apart, so I would say that I am not flying too much further than I did during my trip to France. There is also train service called Eurostar that connects these two countries.

Another thing to brag about would be leaving from Terminal 3 of the airport, and travelling by large planes. And it has been a few years since I last sat on a plane with an in-flight entertainment system (the monitor in front of you and the controller). The plane ride would last for fourteen hours so I wasn't sure how I was going to "handle" it. I watched two movies on the plane, a bit of television programmes and played games. The first movie I watched was "If I Stay". It was from a book written by Gayle Forman. (Some kind of movie review here?: I almost don't watch movies in the cinema, and I rarely watch full movies on television. So this is one of the saddest movies I have ever watched. Be prepared to bawl your eyes out, or just shed a little tears. Even if you don't cry, this movie should at least make you (why don't I remember the exacts words I want to say??) touch your heart, feel sad or just do something to your feelings, nothing positive about it, or I don't know what else will.) So the second movie I watched was "Rise of the Guardians". (Jack Frost is extremely handsome, especially when I finally watched the movie!)

We arrived in London Heathrow Airport at around 7 pm GMT. I can tell you a lot about how we managed to get out through the arrival gates. So we went up and down and up and down and etc., until we finally caught sight of the immigration counters. The queue was like an extremely long snake and it took almost forever until it was our turn. Fortunately, we we not asked many questions at the counter.

When we finally exited through the arrival gates we did not see my sister, who was supposed to pick us up. Eventually we did, and she brought us to travel via Tube to our destination. After the tube ride we still had to walk. As we were a few steps from our destination, I saw a familiar figure stretch out her hands about to hug me. Anyway, when we arrived it was supposed to be early morning (am) back at home, so I was kind of tired.

And that's how the trip began...
